Built to be repaired,
not replaced.
Hide & Oak started at a single workbench in 2017 and grew into a small workshop that still cuts, stitches, and finishes every bag the same deliberate way.
Leather bags that age into something better.
We got tired of bags that looked good in a showroom and cracked within a year. Hide & Oak was founded on one rule: everything we make has to earn a patina, not fall apart — full-grain hide, solid brass hardware, and stitching done by hand at a workbench, not a conveyor belt.
We work with a single family-run tannery we've partnered with since day one, cut in small batches, and back every bag with a repair program instead of a warranty that expires the moment you actually need it.

Full-grain, always
No bonded or corrected leather. Full-grain hide is the only material that develops a genuine patina instead of peeling.
Hand-stitched seams
Saddle-stitched by hand at load-bearing points, so a single broken thread never means a torn seam.
Repair, not replace
Worn strap or loose hardware? We fix it. Our workshop repairs Hide & Oak bags for as long as you own them.
